Goleuadau Tylwyth Teg | Tylwyth Teg Heart Lights

New to our casgliad Mythau a Chwedlau | Myths and Legends collection, our interpretation of a ‘Tylwyth Teg’ fairy as a set of ‘fairy’ lights!

Tylwyth Teg roughly translates as 'fair folk'. Like most fairies in Welsh folklore, these fairies don't have wings, and are very human in their appearance, but perhaps with an air of otherworldliness on account of their striking beauty and very fair or white hair. They are also described as tall, unlike most fairies with wings. They often visit markets to buy interesting things and can bestow gifts on people they think are worthy.

A string of 20 battery operated LED lights with engraved hearts in red acrylic.

- Etched detailing

- Size of hearts approx. 70mm x 50mm

- LED lights are battery operated (2 x AA not included)

Please note that the fairies are attached to the lights by specially designed clips. The lights have not been permanently fixed, to allow the user to adjust the direction of the hearts when hanging. They may move in transit, but they should not completely detach. Simply push the light back into place and align the heart as desired.
