Bran
Ravens and crows appear many times throughout Celtic and Welsh myth, legend and folklore. In the Mabinogion, Taliesin claims to "have fled in the semblence of a crow", and in some versions of the tale of Owain, the hero has "an army of ravens". The bird is said to have "always secured him a victory in battle". Some believe that Arthur did not die in battle, but was turned into a raven, a "form in which he still goes about".
